Eva Jospin’s caves, forests, fantasy landscapes and sundry other architectures in cardboard both inspire and delight. She rouses the eye, drawing the viewer into an alternate, otherworldly reality somewhere between dream and illusion, like an invitation to escape. Her work, always monumental and striking, offers up a unique contemplation of the world, giving rise to new emotions every time. It’s a trait she shares with Miss Dior, a constantly reinvented olfactory revolution that exalts the senses and the imagination. |
That work now returns in miniature on the bow of the Miss Dior bottle – “a challenge”, as the artist describes it. The infinitely small becomes a place of wonder, of the irresistibly precious. Vivid pink flowers mingle with tender green foliage, contrasted by the softer hues of branches, a choreography of nature that seems to come to life on transparent organza. Meticulous work by Chanakya’s artisans brings to life a unique tribute to the floral, springlike essence of Miss Dior. |
