Like the petites mains working fabric in the Ateliers, the Artistic Director of Dior Joaillerie unites the motifs of Galons Dior with the elegance of Dearest Dior, embellishing each element differently to bring exceptional new creations to life. Infinitely combinable, they follow and sublimate the curves of the body and, as would couture garments, intersect, intertwine, overlap, mingle and part. With the finesse and lightness of lace, the settings seem to fade into the background, allowing rubies, emeralds, blue sapphires, rubellites and tanzanites to reveal bold hues and complex constructions, reflecting the excellence of savoir-faire Dior so cherishes. In an entrancing interplay of geometry and asymmetry, the jewels perfectly embrace the contours of the hand, the arch of the wrist and the slenderness of the neck, as if laid directly on the skin. |
A plural ode to the House’s patrimony and the virtuosity of its artisans, translated in seventy-nine models. Playing with scale and perspective, Victoire de Castellane dresses pieces in dazzling shades, with sophisticated tiers evoking the tremendous refinement of couture. Braiding adorns bodices or wraps fingers in a subtle balance of transparency and accumulation. In a marvellous tribute to Monsieur Dior’s passion for nature and botany, a parure in white gold – composed of a necklace, a cuff, a double ring and a pair of earrings – is punctuated with piqué diamonds featuring plant details. These objects of desire, illuminated by gems in vibrant tones, invite numerous associations, like so many expressions of multifaceted femininity. |
